Activities
• Develop and implement a long-term functional strategy aligned with the Executive Board
• Define national guidelines, standards, systems, and processes with country-wide validity
• Provide professional leadership to entities, SBS Heads, and operational units within the 
country
• Ensure uniform, legally compliant, and efficient implementation of standards and 
processes across all national business sectors
• Lead digitalization, optimization, and transformation projects in the respective function
• Advise the Executive Board and other divisions on strategic, regulatory, and 
organizational matters
• Drive national knowledge transfer, alignment, and communication across departments 
and disciplines
• Lead and develop subordinate staff unit managers, department heads, and team leaders
• Foster a learning-oriented culture with strong professional collaboration and continuous 
improvement
• Build effective relationships with SBS Heads, functional leaders, and operational 
management
• Promote transparency, trust, and interdisciplinary cooperation within the national 
organisation
• Actively contribute to the strategic further development of the function in close 
cooperation with the Executive Board

Requirements
• Academic degree in the relevant specialist field (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Accounting, 
Payroll, etc.)
• Extensive leadership experience, ideally in a national corporate function
• Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills
• Proven communication and leadership ability at Executive Board level
• Experience in digitalisation, organisational development, and change processes
• High integrity, sound judgement, and assertiveness
• Ability to collaborate constructively across hierarchical and functional boundaries
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive alignment and professional 
development across units
